Who We AreInspiringKids is a dedicated community of education- and environment-minded individuals who are committed to keeping our program sustainable and accessible to all.FoundersAmy Neuman - Founder & PresidentAfter being asked to head up the fundraising committee for the local nursery school in 2006, Amy devoted considerable time to considering a variety of school fundraising activities. Looking through a bulb catalog sparked the idea for the bulb-a-thon (our starter blueprint). In 2007 she founded InspiringKids, where she is currently the President. Amy graduated from Cornell University in 1993 and has spent the better part of the last 10 years raising her three children. Although she spent a few years teaching before becoming a parent, she now stays involved with the local schools as an active parent volunteer with a specific interest in art, environmental stewardship and civic engagement. Program SupportFounding CircleOur Founding Circle is the financial cornerstone of our organization. All members are dedicated to educating children and cultivating a new generation of young philanthropists. With the Circle's generous contributions, we regularly improve and extend our programs all schools interested in benefiting from InspiringKids.
Organization SupportersWe're grateful to our Organization Supporters, who provide the necessary operating expenses to maintain InspiringKids. Their continuing contributions allow the InspiringKids team to focus on maintaining a solid, sustainable organization and to broadcasting it to a wide audience.
Pilot SchoolsWe're especially thankful for the parents, teachers and children of our Pilot Program Schools. They have been a willing, engaged test ground for our pilot program. Without their suggestions and feedback, we would not have been able to develop our broad-reaching program. We look forward to growing and learning with them in the years ahead.
Business PartnersOur business partners support InspiringKids in a variety of ways. Our partners are committed to ongoing contributions and are critical players in keeping our program relevant, impactful and sustainable.
