Our Team

InspiringKids is a dedicated community of education- and environment-minded individuals who are committed to keeping our program sustainable and accessible to all.

Founders

Amy Neuman - Founder & President

Amy graduated from Cornell University in 1993 and has spent the better part of the last 10 years raising her three children. Although she spent a few years teaching before becoming a parent, she now stays involved with the local schools as an active parent volunteer with a specific interest in art, environmental stewardship and civic engagement.

Looking through a bulb catalog sparked the idea for the bulb-a-thon (our starter blueprint). In 2007 she founded InspiringKids, where she is currently the President.

Caroline Cannon - Chief Operating Officer

Caroline Cannon is co-founder of InspiringKids, Inc. and a consultant in business start-up and turn-around. Her past experience includes management consulting with Renaissance Consulting (now the Balanced Scorecard Collaborative) and as CEO or President of several niche businesses in Chicago and the Upper Valley.

Caroline holds a BA in Russian/East European Studies from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She sits on the Board of the DCUV, on the Alumni Council for Dartmouth and the Board of SCORE.
